Darling Dancer!

Erik's older sister, Annika, has a passion of her own. She is a beautiful and talented dancer! Her recital at the the beginning of June showed Anni completely in her element. The way she is able to express herself and bring such joy and emotion to the audience is incredible! Anni is like a little sister to me, and will always be a family member in my heart. Watch out world, this girl is going to do AMAZING things! 

Blast of Baseball

My neighbor, also known as my second little brother, has been playing machine pitch baseball this summer. This slugger has been smacking some hits and making some big plays, loving his team and playing the game. I wish I could've been able to go to more games, he definitely made Leander Circle proud! Check out his fan section! We were all so proud of him, he really is quite the little athlete. His team, Excelsior Paint, finished third in the league. Here are some pictures of Erik in action! Can't wait to catch him at his next sporting event-soccer season is coming up! 

Como Zoo

One of the things I really wanted to do while I was home was go to the zoo. I love animals and I think the way they interact and live is so fascinating and just incredible. The way they live in Nature is just so cool. Unfortunately, the zoo is the closest I can get to seeing real animals up close. I wish and hope to someday be able to capture them in their natural habitat, but for now here's a few pictures of animals in a different home.
